From Ploërmel city centre drive towards RENNES - PLELAN LE GRAND - GUER, then towards CAMPENEAC (D 724 road). When you leave CAMPENEAC take the D 312 road on your left towards PAIMPONT. You will drive 1,2 miles to admire Trecesson castle (which will be on your right). Drive on to the D 312 road again towards PAIMPONT for 1,5 miles. At the top of a hill you will see St John's chapel.

Drive on for 0,6 mile on the D 312 road towards PAIMPONT. Turn off left for the TOUCHE GUERIN. Leave on the car park and have a look at the beautiful Lucas' cross on the way to the giant's tomb. When you get at the cross take the path on the left and walk for about 500 metres, turn left again to see the giant's tomb.

Walk backwards to the car park, then follow the instructions to visit Viviane's house.

Take the car again and drive on the D 312 road to PAIMPONT. You will have a stop there for a while to visit the abbey. Then when you live the village driving towards GAEL on the left a path will lead you to another more recent unusual sight, that is a copy of LOURDES' grotto.

Drive on the visit on the D 38 road towards PLELAN-LE-GRAND for 0,6 mile. Turn left on the D 40 road towards St-PERAN. Drive on for about 0,8 mile then turn off left towards the PAS DU HOUX pond. Drive on up to TELHOUËT. Then turn to the left for the D 71 road towards St-MALON-SUR-MEL. Do not miss to see the Hindres Oak, a five centuries old oak.

Drive on the D 71 road again towards St-MALON-SUR-MEL for 600 metres then turn left and drive for 900 metres. Park the car and walk cross the road to visit Merlin's tomb as well as the Youth Fountain.

Broceliande's tour carries on with the visit to Comper's castle (you can visit it only at some period of the year). Drive on up to the crossroad. Then turn left to the D 31 road towards CONCORET and drive on for about 2 miles.

The next unusual sight is the Guillotin's oak. Go to CONCORET and take the D 141 towards TREHORENTEUC. Drive on for about 1,5 miles. At the locality "CROZEN", turn left. The Guillotin's oak will be at the next branch road.

Drive back on the D141 road towards TREHORENTEUC for about 3 miles. Turn off left towards FOLLE PENSEE, drive cross the village and take the road to the left leading to the surprising and legendary Barenton's Fountain. However you will not manage to see if you don't walk for 0,6 mile. Drive back on the D 141 road towards TREHORENTEUC. Carry on driving for about 1,8 miles, turn to the right and park the car. Have a look at the Monks' Garden Tumulus which is near the car park : take the path, walk 20 metres and turn off to the right.

The visit ends at TREHORENTEUC to which you will get to when you carry on driving for 1 mile.

Stop for a while to admire the church.
